Planner features
Plan, customise, organise and teach—all in one place.
The Online Pilates Lesson Planner helps you get from “What am I teaching?” to a usable class plan without opening six documents, three browser tabs and the emergency biscuit tin.
Create
Three sensible starting points. No blank-page staring contest.
Click Ask Genie
Click one button and the Planner’s sequencing algorithm creates a complete lesson plan for you.
Copy a shared plan
Choose from 10,000+ plans shared by other teachers, copy one and edit it for your class.
Build your own
Browse 15 categories, choose exercises and drag them into your own teaching sequence.

The exercise library
All 15 main Pilates libraries, clearly signposted.
Start with the class or equipment you teach, then narrow the results by movement, position, body area or teaching purpose.
Free exercise directory: each category link opens the matching public Pilates exercise library in a new tab. Inside the Planner, you can narrow exercises further by movement, position, body area or teaching purpose.
Customise
A starting plan—not a stone tablet.
Real classes contain real people, which is why every plan can be shaped around the group in front of you.
- Drag and drop exercises into a new order
- Edit exercise descriptions and teaching steps
- Add your own cues, notes and exercises
- Choose what information appears in the plan
- Merge useful plans into one longer session

One plan, three versions
The same class plan, dressed for three different jobs.
Short Plan gives you a compact reference to use while teaching.
Long Plan adds teaching steps, benefits, modifications, precautions and available exercise videos.
Stream Plan creates a video-based version that can support home practice or act as a teaching aid.
See the output
Concise when you are teaching. Detailed when you need the detail.
Organise and reuse
Your good plans should not disappear into a folder called “Class final FINAL 2”.
Save plans
Keep successful plans inside your account so they are ready when that class comes around again.
Copy plans
Duplicate a useful plan, then adapt it without changing the original.
Merge plans
Combine exercises from several plans into one longer or more varied session.
Create courses
Group related plans into a course for easier repeat teaching and progression planning.
Manage student plans
Store and manage lesson plans for individual students with the Student Management System.
Return from any suitable device
Open your account on a desktop, laptop or tablet rather than relying on one particular computer.
Help when you need it
Support superhero George is always on hand to save the day.
Getting-started tutorials explain the main tools. Many exercises include teaching information and a video refresher, and you can request a new exercise from inside the Planner.
If something is not behaving as expected (a very rare thing), support super-hero George will come to your rescue.

Useful questions
A few feature questions before you wander off.
Does Ask Genie use AI?
Ask Genie is the current Planner’s one-click lesson-planning algorithm. Click the button and it creates a plan from the exercise library. The rebuilt Planner’s newer intelligent planning tools are covered separately on the Coming Soon page.
Can I change a plan after it has been created?
Yes. You can reorder exercises, edit descriptions, add cues and notes, include your own exercises and change what appears in the finished plan.
Can I use another teacher’s shared plan?
Yes. Copy a shared plan into your account and adapt the copy for your own class.
Can I print a plan?
Yes. You can open, download, print or email your plans, depending on how you want to use them.
Does the Planner work on a phone?
The current Planner is designed primarily for desktop, laptop and tablet use. The rebuilt Planner will provide a more modern experience across devices.
Ready when you are
