This Pilates class plan has 15 of the 34 classical Joseph Pilates mat exercises from his book: Return to Life Through Contrology. Joseph Pilates created this order of exercise to go through a sequence that he believed to be the most logical.
I’ve chosen 15 exercises that I think most beginners can get to grips with. They include Joseph’s warms up exercises (not the more challenging exercises that come later in the routine). If you’re not a beginner student, you might like the full Jospeph Pilates lesson plan with all 34 exercises.
